The Coalinga Drive-In was opened prior to 1955, when it had a capacity for 375 cars. It was operated by Marvin Bell in 1963. Capacity at that time was 280 cars. It was still open in 1975.

I remember going to the Coalinga Drive-In as a teen back in the early 1970’s. Mr.Bob Carson (Ark)was security for the drive-in. After it closed it was used in the 80’s in a music video.

the ramps still remain so does the foundation of the projectors booth. nothing of the actual screen remains though you can clearly see where it stood!

The actual address for this drive-in was 26015 Jayne Ave, Coalinga, CA 93210. It was across from the Coalinga fire department (still exists).
