It’s now an average restaurant, within a really loud space.

Too bad that this building cannot be converted back to a theater. I believe that the space is currently available according to a commercial real estate listings site. I know that in recent years it was used for a costume shop and most recently as a women’s consignment shop. With all of the “artsy” revitalization taking place in this area of Charleston, now would seem the perfect time to take it back to a theater.

Was in here last week and the theater" guts" are still in place. Floor ,stage and empty projection booth.Very hard to reopen as a theater with all the new laws for bathrooms and lobby space.

Sad loss. I used to walk there, all the way from downtown Charleston, to see first-run films.

It was just an ordinary place, but with dowdy charm. For the special effect films, you went to the Ultravision—THAT was a theater.
