Bond Theatre

Located on Reading Road at Dalewood Avenue. The Bond Theatre was operating prior to 1941 and was operating to at least 1950.

After closing, this theatre was eventually converted to a synagogue. It had been demolished by 2019 and the site is now a grassed over plot.

The Bond Theater is listed as 4906 Reading Road in the 1952 City Directory and William Forg is named as manager.

My father, James W McDonald was the manager during WWII. He used to commute from Norwood via streetcar.He was deferred from the draft due to operating a movie theater.
