The Plaza survives - derelict at present - as a lovely example of a small town Art Deco style cinema. Apparently dating from the mid-1930’s, the cinema was used as a recording studio after closure. It does not appear to have been large, I would guess below 1,000 seats, and still retains the pastel colours on the facade.
Situated in a very narrow street just outside the centre of the town.
