Once this site allows further photographs to be uploaded, I will add an interesting photo showing the entrances to both the Empire and the Prince’s. Where the bicycle has been parked up was an exit for both cinemas, so is the only part of the former Prince’s that still survives. Although built at different times, the Empire was built to match the Prince’s.

Star moved the Empire - Star Bingo & Social Club to a former Co-Operative Hall, known as Oakfield House, opening there as the New Empire - Star Bingo & Social Club.
