It’s only a guess that the Anchor Theatre was the original name and Diamond Theatre the later one. It was located in downtown Pittsburgh on Diamond Street (now known as Forbes Avenue). The theatre either opened or changed names July 14, 1924, and may have ceased operation in 1928.
