The 16-screen Warner Village multiplex opened on 17th December 1999. In 2006 it was re-branded Vue.

Originally opened with an Iwerks screen, as of 2015 it has been equipped with IMAX Digital in one auditorium. It was one of the first two Vue sites in the UK to have an IMAX screen, Vue being the last major UK operator with no IMAX screens in the UK.
Video of the IMAX screen installation. The video includes seating and flooring installation, screen frame assembly, screen speaker installation, and screen installation.
The screen speakers are not the same as those installed in larger IMAX venues, and there is no “Voice of God” speaker.
There is also plenty of height remaining above the screen!
All screens (with the exception of the IMAX) fitted with Vue’s recliner seating during October-December 2019, with ticket prices capped at £7.99 per film.
Around late 2020 before reopening after covid, much of the interior of Vue Cheshire Oaks was refurbished with newer vue branding, including the games area being replaced with a drinks machine and many celling fixtures and neon signs from warner village being replaced. The blue and yellow star in the middle of the foyer is still there, being the only clear remnant of the warner village era.
