Hull Screen is one of the oldest Regional Film Theatres in the UK. It established itself in the Central Library in 1969.
By February 2002 it operated from a new temporary home at the University of Lincoln in George Street and was equipped with the latest digital projection and sound. It was closed and business transferred to the new Reel Cinema from 2008 until July 2014.
