The General Cinemas Seminary South I & II opened on Christmas Day 1969 and theater two was twinned making it the Seminary South I, II, & III. The Seminary South continued through the Seminary South Shopping Center’s conversion from shopping center to enclosed shopping mall in 1987 renamed the Town Center. General Cinema moved inside to the eight screener and the outdoor theater became a bingo hall and a house of worship. The outdoor cinema was still standing as of this picture at the end of 2013. The indoor cinema was operated by General Cinema, and by Hollywood Theaters and Wallace Theaters as a discount location. When the Town Center Mall was rebranded as Le Gran Plaza, the Cinema Latino chain took over the theater inside the mall.
