Photograph for the new site, purchased by V.H.Cinemas Ltd for the new Regal cinema. The information board on the upper floor of one of the old properties informs that Norwich cinema Architect is J.Owen Bond and construction and will be by Thomas Gill & Son. Squeezed between two car garages, from the white post on right side to the low brick retaining wall on left, restricting the new build, although proving difficult was achieved by Bond using segmented steel girders joined on site after delivery. Gill’s also carried out internal decorations and were used by Bond frequently on other of his cinemas.
