The Atelier Kino is an independent art house cinema. It opened as a 333-seat single screen cinema on 26th October 1972. In November 1992 it became a twin screen cinema with seating for 204 and 84.
Monday is ‘Mongay’ which features films with a gender related theme. The Atelier Kino also hosts the annual Munich Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
The Atelier Kino is located adjacent to the City Kino, which opened in 1959.
