Opened in 1934, the Uptown Theatre, located at the corner of Third and Seward Streets, is shown as being ‘Closed’ by the 1945 edition of the Film Daily Yearbook. It reopened and was still open in 1955.

I’ve found a reference to the Uptown Theatre in Juneau advertising “Family Night” with an admission price of 25 cents in May, 1955.
