This was one of the few single screen operations of the short lived Jerry Lewis Cinema franchise. The Jerry Lewis Cinema was opened in 1972. The K-B Theatres circuit acquired the cinema after the franchise folded and renamed it the McLean Cinema. The cinema closed in the mid-1980s and has since been demolished.

I wonder if this theater was around in the late sixties. I had relatives in McLean and have a very vague memory of seeing a film with them at a theater in town, maybe 1968 or 1969.

Ok, then we went somewhere else, maybe Tyson’s Corner. I remember all of us driving in the station wagon to the theater, but after that it’s dim.
