New Venus Theater

The New Venus Theater was opened by 1934. It was located several doors down from the closed and boarded up Lake Theater and was best known for showing horror, science fiction and Japanese monster movies. It disappeared from the city directory by 1970 and the building became a camera store.

The Venus Theater had a previous address in Shreveport which was 2434 Fetzer.
