Located in the Montagne Sainte district of Libreville, Cinema le Komo was closed for over ten years. It was refurbished and re-opened in 2008, and is the largest cinema operating in central Africa. It screens films from Africa and locally produced films from Gabon, American and British films are dubbed into French. Facilities are available for lectures and live performances. There is a restaurant and snack bar for cinema patrons.
