The Wetaskiwin Drive-In was opened in July 1953. It had space for about 300 cars. It was closed in the 1970’s when a storm destroyed the screen.

According to my 1956 motion picture Almanac everything Chuck mentioned above was correct in 1956.

Apparently opened in July 1953.
