The Aberystwyth Arts Centre opened in 1973. It is located on the campus of the University of Wales. the complex has three auditoriums: The Great Hall (a concert venue, which seats 990), a live theatre seating 312 (undergoing refurbishment in June 2018) and a dedicated cinema, seating 112.
The Arts Centre underwent a renovation in 2000 and cinema use began on 4th February 2000.
