A slightly closer address is 2234 US-259, Daingerfield, TX.

This puts it on the same side of the highway just to the south of the drive-in.

A 1985 aerial shows the drive-in intact, but apparently closed. By 2004, trees were growing on the ramps. Today, it is fully engulfed by the overgrowth of trees.

The projection booth/concession stand appears to still be standing. But even if the booth and screen are still fully intact, there are power lines that cross through the middle of the drive-in. Making re-opening it a true challenge.

Boxoffice, April 13, 1957: “Buddy Bass of McNatt Theatres has purchased the Lone Star Drive-In, Daingerfield, from Okleigh Hill and assumed operations. The McNatt chain has houses in Daingerfield, Naples and Hughes Springs”

Closest address is 2153 US-259, Daingerfield, TX 75638. The drive-in is overgrown and the screen structure is still standing. Its actually north of Lone Star.
