Military band program on the Mansfield Ohio Theatre stage sometime in 1944. (Poster of a Consolidated B-24 Liberator hangs above) Also seen in this picture is the console of the theatre’s original 3/9 Kimball organ (KPO #7029, 1928) seen in the pit. As the Renaissance Theatre today, the theatre’s current organ was built by Wurlitzer in 1929 for Warner Brothers Sunset Boulevard recording studio. It later was owned by TV personality Joe Kearns and installed in his L.A. home.
