Located on the town square the Queen Theatre opened in 1928 as Pilot Point’s first "talkies" movie theatre. It was operated by Alfred Coleman and later by his son.
During its history the Queen Theatre was badly damage by a tornado, repaired and has since been demolished. In 2009 the distinctive slanted concrete foundation was the only remnant left of the Queen Theatre.
