The Arcadia Theater was owned and operated by George Hite and his wife.
They also owned and operated the Palace Theater for a three year period in Whiterite, which ultimately became the Linda Theater.

The November 30, 1948 issue of Boxoffice said that the Arcadia Theatre in Bells, Texas had been badly damaged by a fire on November 4. At that time it was owned by a Mr. Coy Anderson.
