The Broncho Drive-In was named after the Odessa High School football team and was opened by H & H Theaters on March 31st, 1949. The theater featured return encores and opened with Clark Gable and Caludette Colbert in “It Happened One Night”.
The Broncho Drive-In enjoyed a two decade run and as with many other drive-in’s was finished off by daylight savings time. It was shut down in late-1972, torn down and nothing remains with the possible exception of the original marquee having found a home at the high school football stadium.

It parked 500 cars making it the second largest Drive-in in that city. It was owned by H&H THEATRES.
