The cinema re-opened on 10th August, 2017 as the Cinema City -JP.The cinema has two houses.House 1 is equipped with Dolby Atmos sound system,while House 2 is equipped with Dolby 7.1 sound system. Both houses are equipped with Barco 4K Laser Phosphor Projectors. The new cinema is managed by Pegasus Entertainment Holdings Limited.

As of March 2010, the cinema has been equipped with Sony 4K digital projector—the latest version of digital projector.
