Opened as the Artistic Pathe in the 1910’s and located in the Schaerbeek district, just North of the city centre, at Place Liedts not far from the Rue de Brabant and the ‘hot quarter’ of Brussels and the Avenue de la Reine which goes to Laeken district. The Cine Artistic had a change of name to Pigalle Cinema in 1955 and was renovated. It closed in February 1963, and was put up for sale, and has since become a retail shop.
