The Center Theater was opened in 1940, and operated into the 1960’s. The building became a retail store. It had been demolished by 2023 and the site is now a park.

From The Film Daily, July 17, 1940:

“Carley Opens Third House

“Holland, Mich. — The Carley Amusement Co., Butterfield Theaters, Inc., affiliate, has opened a third house, the Center. It seats 600.”
