C.F.Colby opened the Mirror Theater in 1915 and then it had a name change to the Princess Theater in 1917 by a new owner, M.J.Davis. In February 1921 B.Legg reopened the theater and changed to the name to the Superba Theater and it continued to operate as a movie theatre until its closure in December 1955.
The building was demolished in 1958.

From 1939 a night time photo of the Superba Theater in Denison.
The last film to play at the Superba appears to be a Christmas show in December of 1955. The Legg family operated the theatre from 1921 until its closure as an independent theater.
