The July 19, 1965 issue of Boxoffice included a full-page article about the AM radio “Minicast” system that co-owner R. L. “Mickey” Stanger had installed in his Evans Drive-In. That’s Stanger in this photo from the top of the article.

BTW, after the 1966 season, Stanger leased out the Evans and moved to Estes Park CO, where he ran the Lake Estes Drive-In.

I couldn’t find a copyright notice in this issue of Boxoffice. If there isn’t one, then it should be in the public domain.
