Located the southwest London inner city district of Brixton. The Pleasure Land Cinema was opened by 1915 and operated by K.A. Baker. It was a short lived venture possibly a store conversion, and isn’t listed in 1916.

In 2009, Misses Sabrina’s Beauty Salon operates at this address.

There was also the Station Cinema, Station Road which was briefly known as the Pleasure Land Cinema around this period.

Sorry to have to keep correcting the multiple errors on this site, but this was not the “PleasureLand” cinema at all – that was actually in Brixton Station Road, neither did it (or the one listed here) open in 1915. Also, it was obviously situated in railway arch!
