Gowerville Theatre

The Gowerville Theatre opened on 7th May 1926. The theatre was updated in May 1930 for "talkies" but closed later that year. It was re-opened in 1938. It was closed in 1949 and following a refurbishment it re-opened in 1951 as the Melody Theatre. The Melody Theatre was closed in 1957 and was demolished in the 1960’s.
