This Frank’s Theatre was built in 1931. In 1937 the name was changed to the Dixie Theatre. In 1960 the name was changed back to Frank’s Theatre and it continued to operate under that name until it closed in 1983. The theater is currently being restored for the purpose of showing films and for live performances.
