This theater was originally opened as the Plitt 4 in 1983 and is located across from the Sher Den Mall. Cinemark took it over in 1990 and transformed it into Movies 7 and it was last known as the $1.00 Cinema.

I thought Plitt had sold all their theatres by 1983.

Google maps lists a Cinemark Movie 7 and a Dollar Cinema 7 at the above address,but as we all know this could be incorrect.

Mike Rogers, your (kind of) right. In 1985, Plitt Theatres got bought out by Cineplex Odeon Cinemas.
