The Thission Outdoor Summer Cinema is one of almost 100 outdoor summer cinemas which operate from May to September in Athens (there used to be 200 of them at one time). The Thission Outdoor Summer Cinema is one of the oldest operating in the city and is located in the Thissio district close to the Acropolis.
The Thission Outdoor Summer Cinema has the added attraction of a view of the Acropolis from its seating area.
