The Lake Theatre opened in 1936 with seats listed at 781.
When I was maybe 6 years old, my cousin and I got into an argument about who would carry the money and pay for us to get into the Lake Theater. My uncle tore a dollar bill in half and gave each of us one piece. He said the ticket lady would still take it, and she did!
