Located in Ixelles in the Boendael suburb, just near Watermael Boitfort. The Relais Cinema opened on 15th March 1939 with Jeanette MacDonald in “The Firefly”. In March 1940 it screened Errol Flynn in “The Adventures of Robin Hood”. From the 1950’s it had 2 programs a week. In October 1958 “Loving You” with Elvis Presley was shown the same week concurrent with Roxy Cinema, Schaerbeek and Rixy Cinema, Etterbeek, and just after the Tabora Cinema in Brussels city centre. The Relais Cinema closed in July 1966 and became an auditorium for the University ULB. It is now in retail use of the pet shop chain Tom and Co.
