The theatre closed on 22nd July,2024 and re-opened on 23rd July,2024 as Gala Cinema.

UA Langham Place re-opened on 11th November, 2014 as Cinema City Langham Place.The new cinema is run by Pogasus Entertainment Holdings Limited and its official opening date is 5th January, 2015.As the old UA Langham Place, the 1086 – seat cinema has six houses,with House 1 [Citi Studio 4DX]as the first cinema in Hong Kong to be equipped with 4DX Motions and Environment Effects system.House 3 with Dolby Atmos sound system, while House 3 and House 4 with High Frames Rates project system.All six houses are equipped with Dolby 7.1 sound system.

It seems that UA Langham Pl is going to close in July 2014.

Was this part of the United Artists Theatres chain? I was reading this and the cinema had a UA logo.
