Located in the West Hills Shopping Center in Moon Township, northwest of Pittsburgh. Open from June 14, 1985 and operated by Rick Glaus who also operated the Dependable Drive-In (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The West Hills Cinema was taken over by Cinemette Corporation of America by December 1987 when that were taken over by Cinema World. It was closed on September 8, 1988. They showed a mix of first- and second-run films, art films, and ended as a dollar house.
It was demolished and a Walmart SuperCenter was opened on the site in November 2016.

Your picture is too far down the road. The Cinema’s were in the old Johnny Dollars Dance Hall and Saloon which before that was a super market. The theatres were in the West Hills Shopping Center.
The West Hills Shopping Center was at University road and Brodhead Road. The entire complex was demolished to make way for the Walmart Supercenter which opened on the site last November.
Opened June 14, 1985 by Rick Glaus who also owned the Dependable Drive-In. Cinemette Theatres had taken over sometime before Dec of 1987 when Cinemette was sold to Cinema World. Closed along with a number of other CW sub-run houses on Sept 8, 1988.
