Films and some variety acts were programmed at the Conservative Hall in 1908, and were booked by Dan Barnard. In 1909, Poole’s Myorama was presented, and later the building was re-named Barnard’s Music Hall. Films bacame the main part of programming and by 1915 it was re-named Barnard’s Imperial Bioscope. It was closed in the early 1920’s.
