Located in the north London district of Edmonton, on Fore Street at the northeast corner of Brettenham Road. The Weslyan Central Hall was equipped with a projection box and began screening films in 1922. Mainly comedies and family films, due to the bookings being made by the church who owned the building. Performances for adults were screened in the evenings and there was a childrens mattinee every Saturday afternoon.
Apparently the wooden seats in the hall were not that comfortable, and the film performances only lasted until 1923. The building remains today as the Edmonton Methodist Church.
