The Strand Theatre opened on June 1, 1939.
Located in downtown Tillsonburg on Broadway, it was closed in November 1992. It became a pizza restaurant, which was still open in 2009. This was followed by office use which had closed by 2012. By 2015 it was in use as a medical center.

When Google’s camera car went by, half of the Strand Theatre building was occupied by an insurance agency, McFarlan Rowlands, which has the address 169 Broadway Street. The vacant half of the building is probably 167 Broadway. The theater must have used one or the other of those numbers.
The Strand closed in November 1992, exactly two months after their nearby drive-in, the Skylark Drive-In, also closed that year.
Once operated by Premiere Theatres Canada.
