Located in the east London district of Forest Gate. The Kings Hall Cinema was opened in 1910. The building was a conversion of the Forest Gate British School, which had closed in 1874.
The Kings Hall Cinema was closed in 1914. The building is said to have been demolished, but the quaint little building on the site today is very old and could well be the former school building. It was occupied by W.J. Biles the glaziers in the 1990’s. It later became the Forest Gate Bed Centre. In 2009, the building on the site is occupied by a small discount shop named Pound Plaza. By 2016 it is the Kitchen Cafe.
