Korsor Biograf Teater

The Korsor Biograf Teater opened in 1907. It was located in the Red Hall of the Hotel Korsor. It was closed in 1908.

A new Korsor Biograf Teater was opened on 7th August 1908 and decorated in a Greco-Roman style. It had room for 183 persons sitting on long wooden benches and 50-standing places. It was closed on 1st August 1930. It was refurbished with 172 cushioned tip-up seats and was equipped for sound films, reopening on 6th February 1931 with Willie Fritsch & Lilian Harvy in “Liebeswalzer” (The Waltz of Dreams"). It had another complete renovation in 1947 when unfortunately, the original decorative details were removed, and it took on a sleek Moderne style. A second 84-seat screen was added in 1984. On 15th November 1992 it was taken over by a team of volunteers. It was completely renovated in 2019.
