Milo Theatre

The Chic Theatre opened in 1913. The name was changed to the Milo Theatre in the 1930’s. The Milo Theatre closed in 1957. The building was destroyed in an arson fire that occurred on September 14, 2008.

The Theatre Historical Society archive has the MGM Theatre Report for the Milo Th., it’s Card # 411. Address is Main St. There is an exterior photo taken March 14, 1941. Condition is Poor. The report says it opened about 1913 and was showing MGM films. There were 250 seats on the main floor and 76 in the balcony, total 326. 1940 population was 3,000.

1913 photo added as Chic Theatre. 2008 fire was caused by arson. CinemaTour link has fire photos.
