Opened in late-1990, Cinemark Movies 8 was the only movie theater in town to have so many movies than the Sutter Theater. The total seating capacity was for 1,700. By 2003, Cinemark proposed a new cinema southwest edge of the city.
On January 30, 2007 Cinemark submit a 12-plex theater renovation to the Movies 8. Opening in December 19, 2008 Cinemark Yuba City now offers stadium-seating, online ticketing, and Cinemark’s traditional full service concession stand providing all candy brands, freshly butter popcorn and Coca-Cola fountain drinks.

This isn’t a renovation — it’s an entirely new building.
My name is richard C Biggs,I had worked at the old Cinemark Movies 8 Cinema,when Film ruled the screen.I worked therefrom 1987 to 2005 as a projectionist. platters were used at the time to hold the film.
