Address is 1581 Dr Thomas Walker Rd. There is a U.S. Post Office next door to the left at 1579. Highway 58 is actually Wilderness Road and is behind it by a block. Satellite view shows the Ewing Theatre has no roof remaining. The print ad Mike Rogers posted in 2014 was for “The Patsy”, starring Jerry Lewis and Ina Balin pictured in it.

I saw the Dino De Laurentis version of King Kong here in 1976. The inside was dank and the seating was uncomfortable.

Mike, from the looks of things, you wouldn’t have had to look hard to find something rotten in this old theater. There was a “NO TRESPASSING – VIOLATERS WILL BE PROSECUTED” sign on the door, and a lot of interior damage visible through the broken windows, so I’d say that enough vandalism has occurred to make this a serious threat.

You wonder if there were any one sheets in that theatre.I am afraid i would have got a flashlight and found an old rotten exit door and explore.I couldn’t just snap a picture.
