A closer address is 1906 Jacksboro Pike, La Follette, TN. As previously mentioned by jwmovies.

Today, the La Follette Church of God sits on the property with no trace of the drive-in remaining.

The Skyway seems to have opened March 16, 1950 with “River Lady.” Its last ad is at the end of the 1976 season and last film was advertised in 1975. An article in 1978 later says that the Skyway closed “several years” prior. I would assume it closed at the end of its 25-year lease in 1975. A mobile home sales facility was in its place in 1981.

Its address is 1800 Old Jacksboro Highway.

Nick.seems like alot of Drive-ins become church sites or lousy shopping centers that have now fallen on hard times like the old Drive-ins they replaced.

Mike: Too funny! Love your “passion pit” comment! Who would have suspected years ago that this passion pit would become a church?!

Like so many passion pits this location today is home to a large church.
