Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre Theatre

The Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre Theatre is part of the Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre in Sai Wan Ho on the Hong Kong Island.
The Civic Centre is on the podium of the Felicity Garden, which is a private housing estate above the Sai Wan Ho MTR Station.

The Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre opened to the public on 4th December 1990, and was managed by the former Urban Council. The Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government currently run the Civic Centre after the former Urban Council was abolished by the SAR Hong Kong Government and part of the functions of the former Urnan Council was undertaken by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

The Civic Centre Theatre is on the first floor of the podium of the Felicity Garden, with a separate entrance, the spacious lobby and the URBTIX outlet on the ground floor by the Shau Ki Wan Road.

According to the website of the Civic Centre, the theatre is a traditional proscenium theatre designed and fully equipped to stage operas, dances, dramas, Chinese operas, and variety performances. Selected films can also be shown at the theatre.

The 471-seat stadium seating theatre has a stage of 10m X 10m, computerized stage lighting system, advanced sound equipment, two "Strong" Super 80-35mm projectors, two 16mm film projectors with mono sound system, and flown cinema screen. The theatre has no orchestra pit.
