Aside from the Broadway Theatre, Bedok was another Cathay Organization venture into the suburban area of Singapore.
Bedok was a Chinese movie place until 1990 when it was converted into 2 screens.
In 1994, it was leased to the Golden Village chain and later leased to an independent chain showing only Hindi movies
