The Fairhill Palace Theatre was opened by 1914. By 1929 it had been renamed Viola Theatre. It was closed on December 30, 1947 with Joan Fontaine in “Ivy” & Richard Fraser in “White Pongo”. The former Viola Theatre became a plumbing warehouse and is now a church.
