The May Wah Theatre was situated in Tsuen Wan in the New Territories.
May Wah is the Cantonese pronunciation of its Chinese name, literally meaning " beautiful China" or " beautiful flower". Its exact English name if any is unknown.
The May Wah Theatre was adjacent to the Tsuen Wan Amusement Park, and opened to business on 30th August 1969. It showed selected films at reduced prices.
