The Strand Theater was operating prior to 1941 and into at least the 1950’s. I remember hearing on of my sister’s friends talking about this theater on the square in Covington. She said it was a dinky little theater compared to the Newton Cinema in a strip shopping center.
I do remember reading about the theater when when people did not want it integrated. Any other information would be appreciated.
